…now we are here, tomorrow we will never know…life is a continuous engagement with mystery…and the more we try to unravel its mystery, the more we sink deeper and deeper into a well of riddle within a riddle…poets and philosophers dwell on this day and night as they spin and weave words into poems and construct theoretical abstracts from somewhere not visible…and they bleed and cringe…I know for I bleed and cringe with them too as I remember and write what is no longer here…though spring smiles in wonder, it is a different spring for me as I achingly try to fill in the emptiness…the void…as I notice the spaces between scattered lifeless flowers and leaves, lying on a cold pavement, become more pronounced…and yet I desire to remember in order to survive…and grope and feel for the essence of those empty spaces…and dwell in there for as long as it takes…for my heart tells me that therein lies something tender though achingly beautiful… the invisible traces, the footsteps, the stains of what used to be here, a shadow that haunts, a reminder of the fleetingness of life…though I will never be able to apprehend the mystery of life in this earthly existence…though in the deepest core of my being something had ended…though the world looks different now as it has provided me with another deeper dimension of meaning…of capturing another way of looking at life…of living more deeply…that there are still shards of beauty left of this life…a life that is capable of transcending… from coping to overcoming…a life that remains unfinished for as long as i live…a life that is continuously shifting, and flowing, and changing, leading towards a deeper meaning of existence…and I will just be moving on, step by step, and just passing through, as I continue to journey on…because the sun is still up there…
