Of Remembering

a deep moment
of remembering,
of breathing deeply,
as I reconstruct a
bridge to the past.
and i am silent.
i feel a growing stillness.
even the flowers and the cold stones are also silent.
but the wind…it is whispering.

And I could feel the wind on my face….lovely as always but it is so sad. And I remember my own pain losing a loved one!

    • thanks, Arlene. one of those moments i find wonderful even though it is painful and sad…i like the feeling because it makes me remember…because it makes me reminisce and cherish…because it makes me grateful…at the end of the day, i see it more as a gift…a blessing.
