I photographed this image at Charles Sauriol Conservation Area one cold late October afternoon. I felt a sense of the sacred.

Often I experience this feeling when I’m in the woods, alone.
When the shadow is playing with light.
    sometimes, nature is mystical.
I like your photo, and perception of the world.
    I feel peace and tranquility.

Virgilio I saw your image first last night on the small screen of my phone just before turning out the light. Again this morning on my computer… and then in my mind as I was walking in the woods. It’s truly exceptional I find in its impression of life and colour emerging from darkness, the focus and mere suggestion of form. Thank you very much for this.
