Each Step

A cold, quiet, and beautiful morning.                                                                                                 It is tender, alluring and inviting.                                                                                                        And I enter deeply into it                                                                                                                   as the sun spills its golden rays.                                                                                                         I walk in contemplative silence,                                                                                         listening, observing, feeling.                                                                                                            Autumn leaves crunching under my feet.                                                                                       There is something different about that walk.                                                                               It is more than a walk.                                                                                                                     Each step is an intimate engagement with being alive                                                                   in a thousand ways.                                                                                                                       Each step reveals a path of truth.                                                                                               Each step blossoms into forever.                                                                                                 Take deep delight in that walk.                                                                                                           It is our salvation.
