In the cool quiet breath of autumn the cold wind gently rustles petals and leaves. Soon they will all fall on the ground like broken necklaces. Mist floats in twilight…a sacred pause. I drift and slink deep into the solitude of my quiet thoughts. The mercy of each passing hour…another season of deep listening…a mystery. Sunlight fades as the sun slowly departs from the sky. And I am alone pondering in the cool evening of autumn.
